UPDATE ON TRUE LIES 2
James Cameron quickly ended the rumor today that True Lies 2 was moving forward. Thanks a lot Tom Arnold.

TRUE LIES 2 MOVING FORWARD?
Tom Arnold recently mentioned to The New York Times that he, James Cameron, and my main man Arnold Schwarzenegger will be teaming up next year for a movie. He says that it starts shooting in 14 months, right after Arnold's term as Governor is up. He says that it has no script or title yet.

This is very exciting news for me since Arnold is my favorite and I loved the first True Lies. However, Tom Arnold has been talking about this movie for almost ten years now, so its hard to take him serious. I would definitely be up for a sequel though.

UNUSUAL CAST GEARING UP FOR MACHETE
Remember all those fake movie trailers that played between Planet Terror and Death Proof? Well Eli Roth's Thanksgiving, and Robert Rodriguez's Machete were supposed to be made into their own films. Machete is finally moving forward, and the cast is as well. Robert Deniro, Michelle Rodriguez, Jonnah Hill, Steven Segal and now Lindsey "drunken whore mess" Lohan is attached to star along with Danny Trejo. This will either be an extremely awesome film, or an extremely horrible film. With this cast it could go either way.

NEXT PIRATES DIRECTOR IN TALKS
Rob Marshall, who is best known for directing the Oscar winning film Chicago and the soon to release musical Nine is in talks to take over the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. I'm not sure how this will work out since he has only done two musicals and Memoirs Of A Geisha. This needs to be an improvement from the last two films with good, but not over the top action. Hopefully he can step out and make these great if the deals go through.

POSSIBLE NEW SUPERMAN DIRECTORS
There has been a recent lawsuit involving Warner Brothers and their Superman franchise. I'm not a 100% on the details of that, but the outcome from the judge was that Warner Brothers has until 2011 to start a new Superman movie. Well they haven't taken long to get started, because on the top of the list to direct are the Wachowski Brothers, the guys behind the Matrix trilogy. This franchise needs a lot more action and a better villain or else I'm done with this franchise. I like the Wachowski's and I even think their last years flop, Speed Racer, was very good.
