MOVIE REVIEW: G FORCE

Yes, I saw G Force. Why? Well after it came out I heard people say that it was actually pretty good, and then it took down Harry Potter at the box office. So I'm thinking it had to be pretty good......right? Wrong. G Force is about a secret group of rodent animal agents, who are mostly guinea pigs.

When the film starts, they are doing an undercover operation to expose a millionaires plan to take over the word. Somehow, the mission doesn't go as planned and when the F.B.I. comes to evaluate the project, they get shut down and ordered to be terminated. The story then shifts to the animals escaping the feds and they end up getting stuck in a local pet shot where the team gets split making their mission to find each other and stop the Saban company from taking over the world.

If someone eight years old or younger watches this film, I can understand them liking it, but I can't even picture a twelve year old enjoying this picture. What I love about Pixar films, is that although it's a kids film, they make it to where adults can enjoy the film just as much, if not more than the kids. The writing in this film was horrible. It was cheesy line after cheesy line. The story was over used. not fun and extremely forgettable. G Force took no thought to make, it took even less time to write and the voice cast was poorly executed. To quote my friend Cory, "Look up horrible in the dictionary, and you will find G Force/Black Eyed Peas/killing microwave robot". The movie mixed Homeward Bound, Transformers, and Cats and Dogs together to form this film. It gets a one out of five.
