LEN WISEMAN TO DIRECT "END OF THE WORLD" FILM

Wiseman, who directed Live Free Or Die Hard, will be directing the new film Nocturne. The movie is about a group of people who survive the end of the world and the mystery of how they got into that position.

Hollywood loves to take one movie's idea, and then make ten different movies about the same thing. It started with I Am Legend which was an end of the world/zombie movie, then we have 2012 coming out this week, followed by The Book of Eli and The Road which all are basically about the end of the world. What I wouldn't give for an original movie every now and then.

With that being said, Len Wiseman so far has not made a bad film. He was who I was hoping would get to direct Wolverine. Had he got the job, I'm sure we would have got a much better film. Wiseman is currently working on two other projects, one being Atlantis Rising. That is the film I'm wanting to see. The film revolves around seismic disturbances at sea, which force the world's militaries to investigate the deepest part of the ocean, where an underground civilization emerges to engage in war with planet Earth. Now to me, that sounds pretty cool. I've always wanted a good Atlantis movie not made by Disney.

YOU ARE HERE GETS THREE BIG NAMES
Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galafanakis have signed onto to star in You Are Here. Matthew Weiner, who did The Sopranos and is now currently working on the hit show Mad Men is writing and directing. There is no story yet, but it is described as an "indie romantic comedy", so it may not be a big budgeted film.

This has a potential to be a great film. Weiner is a great writer and I like all three cast members so far. I really like that it's described as an "indie film". 500 Days of Summer was great so hopefully we can get something on that level.

SPIDER-MAN 4 CASTING RUMORS
A source says that Sam Raimi is looking into putting Felicia Hardy/Black Cat into the next film. Not only that, but Rachel McAdams is at the top of the wish list for the role. There is also news that there is a casting call for a male villain.

First off, Rachel McAdams would be awesome as Black Cat. Secondly, get concerned. It has already been pretty much confirmed that The Lizard is going to be the villain so lets do the math here. Spider-Man 3 had Sandman, Venom and Green Goblin which equaled a horrible movie. So now Spider-Man 4 has The Lizard and potentially the Black Cat plus another male villain???? Please don't try and fit more story than a two hour movie can hold again, please!!!

  1. Well, the Black Cat isn't a villian so that's good at least. We won't have to see Spidey fighting everyone again. However, she is a new character in the film who is also a superhero who will probably be helping Spider-Man through out the movie and if I know Hollywood then probably even ruining the love life between Peter and MJ. So that could end up bad like you said. Because to many characters so to many story lines.
